First Flush Ceremonial Grade Matcha

Discover the depth and elegance of Ceremonial Grade Matcha, a premium Japanese green tea crafted for those who appreciate authenticity and refinement. Sourced from Fukuoka, Japan, this matcha is made exclusively from the first spring harvest, using only the youngest, most tender leaves. The result is a naturally sweet, umami-rich flavour and a brilliant, smooth green hue that speaks to its quality.

Each cup captures the spirit of Japanese tea culture, offering floral aromatics, a velvety texture, and a clean, lingering finish.

Stone-Milling Process: In older times, stone mills used to be rotated by hand, but nowadays the rotation is automated. The leaves are funnelled down and ground between two granite stones. The heat produced by the stone mills brings out the flavours of the leaves. Stone-ground matcha has a deep flavour that a ball mill or a jet mill cannot achieve.
