April Mist

April Mist is an organic green tea blend born of two storied traditions. One of its leaves was the toast of 18th-century Boston, a tea so beloved it found its way into revolutionary handbills and, later, into the verse of Ralph Waldo Emerson, who marveled at its rare spring scent. The other is plucked in the earliest weeks of the season, before the May rains swell the leaf and the noonday sun can stress the bush, by pickers who set out before dawn singing folk songs about their dreams and loves.

We've brought these two leaves together in a single cup: bright and full-bodied, gently grassy, with a clean, refreshing finish and a delicate fruity note that only early-season plucking can deliver. The aroma is pure April, that brief, misty window when spring arrives on the nose before it arrives anywhere else.

Grown without chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides, April Mist proves that organic cultivation and exceptional cup quality are not at odds. Look closely at the infused leaf and you'll see why this blend has inspired poets and songs alike.
